  • A Starbucks alternative cold coffee mocha latte brand that I enjoy in 2026

Okay people. I have for you today a review about some coffee I had come across at the CVS drugstore today.

I was about to get me a cold Starbucks mocha latte in the glass bottle. I only had $8 I was able to work with, so I found out very quickly I couldn’t afford the Starbucks brand, because I had already picked up a bag of chips which were like $4 and the Starbucks went a little over 4 bucks alone, so I had to hurry up and sit that back down on the shelf.

So anyway, I came across the La Colombe Coffee Workshop’s mocha draft latte, baby! So yeah, I got excited I was about to get some cold coffee in my system. I was dying to have some, because I hadn’t had a cold or iced coffee in a while, and it was brand new to me, so you know how some people get excited to try something new, well that’s me. I wonder if you can relate.

I’m not really supposed to have caffeinated coffee or really anything caffeinated, but I had some today! I got this high blood pressure, but once I tried that cold Starbucks crack, I literally was willing to risk my life for a caffeinated cold mocha latte drink every once in a while. So instead, I drank that La Colombe crack this time and let me tell you, the risk was well worth it!

The La Colombe Coffee Workshop brand is definitely a go-to brand for me. I love its velvety texture and how it smoothly glides down my throat. Overall, I do like Starbucks better due to their mocha lattes seeming sweeter than La Colombe’s mocha lattes. For me, that’s definitely not a deal breaker because less sugar is always better for health reasons for those who are allowed to drink caffeinated drinks. To me, the La Colombe mocha draft latte drink still tastes great and was a very pleasurable experience when I had that drink in my hand today while I partook, sipping and riding around while mom was my chauffeur.

Yeah, La Colombe is that mocha latte joint I’d definitely try several more times over … and over. It’s a cheaper alternative to Starbucks, or at least at my area CVS store it is. You can order them online as well. I haven’t done the math yet on the online price of each can yet, but hopefully they’re much cheaper or at least around the same price as they were at my local CVS store. CVS is a bit more expensive than other places and that was even before this new economy we have now in 2026, so you may be able to get it cheaper at a traditional type of grocery store, maybe I’m thinking.
