Pop, Rap, Country, RnB music production 101 in the FL Studio 25 DAW in 2026

Hey! I’m here today to talk to those who are new to music production who would like to know more about what’s going on in this world.

Above is a tutorial about how you can make your first beat if you’re into hip hop, rap, pop, rnb, or country beats. The tutorial above is an instruction guide that will help you gain knowledge about how to work FL Studio 25, which is a DAW or Digital Audio Workstation. You must have your own PC or a Mac computer in order to use FL Studio 25. Please take a look at the Youtube video above to get filled in on the basics you need to get started!

Once you download the demo of the software and follow the tutorial, then hopefully you’ll know if this is for you or not. If you think it isn’t, maybe you should spend a little more time with it and maybe you’ll fall in love once you get one successful or decent sounding beat created. I’m not trying to force you to spend years trying to figure out whether this is for you or not, but please spend at least a month trying to figure out the basics and then see if this is something you might want to continue.

I’ll be honest. A lot of beat producers and artists will say it is hard getting streaming money since usually you will get a fraction of a cent per stream. For producers and artists who have large followings, they could see some streaming cash, but to those who are just starting out and haven’t built their brand, streaming usually doesn’t get them anywhere as far as getting paid. If you have the patience, then just build your brand which takes time and maybe a little money investment for marketing and promotion.

Once you get the basics down, start looking at more production videos from Busy Works Beats and other beat production videos from various other Youtubers to learn more!

If you do not have a Mac or PC, then I’d suggest you’d start using Soundtrap, which is an online based DAW. There are tutorials on how to use Soundtrap on Youtube, so please search that if you are unable to use FL Studio 25. Also, there is a free one called Bandlab and it’s also a social network.

Also, there are other DAWs out there, but I chose FL Studio and Soundtrap as DAWs to tell you about, because they are for beginners. They say there are other DAWs that seem to be better or give you a better sound than FL Studio. That has been the case for some years now, but I heard that FL Studio has stepped up their game as far as sound quality and recording as well, so just research and compare other DAWs to FL Studio in 2026. Make sure you research reviews as well and in your search inquiries about this topic, make sure you place “2026” at the end of your search inquiries to get the latest and greatest comparison advice for these DAWs. If you happen to choose a DAW other than FL Studio, more than likely there will be tutorials for that particular DAW, so just search for production information while using the DAW name in the search inquiry.

Before I go, here are some other DAWs to go research … Avid Pro tools, Ableton, Bitwig, MOTU, Reason Studio, Steinburg Cubase Pro, and there are more as well, but you can search for those other ones in order to do extensive research.

Also, having a gaming computer is advised. You need one with a lot of space with a ton of GBs or TBs on it and a good amount of RAM, if you are using software like FL Studio 25, Avid Pro Tools or whatever you’d like to use.
